Alleson’s career started as a clerk typist and advanced to Executive Secretary with the Bank of British Columbia in Vancouver. Vancouver has many memories; Alleson learned to ski at Whistler and Grouse Mountains, hiked many trails in the Okanagan, and headed to Kelowna, Penticton and Kalamalka Lake for her get-a-ways.
After a number of years working in Vancouver, British Columbia and Portland Oregon U.S.A., Alleson changed her view of Winnipeg and came home.
Alleson found herself spending many hours taking advantage of the computers in the Winnipeg Transition Centre’s (WTC) Resource Area while she was conducting her job search. She noted to herself: “This would be an ideal place to work; there is positivity and energy here, and people working who know how to laugh and have fun.!”
Alleson joined the Winnipeg Transition Centre (WTC) in 2014 as our Administrative Assistant, bringing over 15 years of experience working in Administration.
Now back in Winnipeg, she enjoys exploring new trails, visiting flower gardens, as well as photography, travelling and most important, spending time with her family.
